Who We Are

Leadership Germantown Alumni Association (LGAA) was organized in September 1996 by the graduates of the inaugural class of Leadership Germantown (LG). The organization has been approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)3 not-for-profit entity.

The governing mission of LGAA is to provide a community conduit for leadership and service, affording graduates of Leadership Germantown practical applications for the LG curriculum. We exist as an organization of individuals committed to our community, committed to leadership through service, and committed to personal development through education.

What We Do

The Leadership Germantown Alumni Association (LGAA), a 501(c)3 organization, dues for the forthcoming year were due on July 1, 2007 for the 2007 / 2008 year. In addition to supporting Leadership Germantown, your dues of $50.00 help to support other worthy endeavors such as:

•Safety City Grant – This helps to fund a week long Safety Education
Program for 5 and 6 year old children.
•Neighborhood Commission Grant – This helps to fund a neighborhood
awareness program through their annual neighborhood
leadership conference.
•New Teacher Award – Given to a new teacher as determined by the
Education Commission.
•Jo Reed Award – Given to an outstanding civic-minded volunteer as
determined by a selection committee.
•Grants to the Germantown and Houston High School’s student government
association.
•And many other worthwhile endeavors.

Notice of dues have been mailed out. Please send your dues made payable to Leadership Germantown Alumni Association to:
